Overview
Dr. Mohammad Ershadul Karim holds an LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. from the University of Dhaka and a PhD in Nanotechnology Law and Policy from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is an Associate Professor of Law at the Faculty of Law of Universiti Malaya (UM), having joined as Senior Lecturer after completing his PhD on the prestigious Bright Spark Scholarship.
A passionate researcher and academic, Dr. Karim has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and presented at numerous national and international conferences across his areas of interest — information and communication technology, artificial intelligence, legal and regulatory aspects of nanotechnology, emerging technologies and law, privacy and data protection, health and medical law, legal research, and Asian and comparative law.
He is a scholar of rare depth, a comparative regional expert, and a pioneer of tech-law — providing the chamber unparalleled intellectual capital, international credibility, and the ability to shape both domestic policy and international legal discourse.
